[Silas was going to be content holding still and polite as possible in Ethan's hold. That is, until he gets some ears scratches. Oh... that's sure a spot. Silas goes from a perhaps comically well postured animal into flopping into Ethan's chest, resting there instead. He is very easy to carry, this way, far less a burden then in any other shape.
When they reach the outside, he's set beside Ethan as the man sits down, exhausted. Silas doesn't have much energy himself, certainly not enough to shift back right away. He does have enough to scoot close, planting (hah) himself at Ethan's side and putting his piggy chin on to his thigh. Support animal??
