adora, sometimes she-ra ([personal profile] swordjock) wrote in [community profile] pedalbike 2020-10-02 08:47 am (UTC)

[ Oh, no. No no no no. As nice as it is to hear Catra laugh, Adora freezes under her, not even reacting to the uninvited tail in her face. Eventually, she lets out an embarrassed huff, because as ridiculous as the name is, she still likes it, and whatever Catra came up with would probably be even worse. (Priorities.) ]

It's not a codename. And I didn't choose it. [ She considers going with the sword told me, but Catra already doesn't trust that thing, and Adora kind of needs it. So, again, she's as truthful as she can be, given the circumstances. ] There was a ruin in the Whispering Woods, with a picture of a woman who looked like me. Not... me-me, but this me. It said her name was She-Ra. Apparently, she's some ancient warrior from a thousand years ago.

[ With a sigh, she hands the pumpkin off to Catra, oblivious to what a mistake that might be. ]

Look, it's been a long day. I can explain later [ when she's had time to come up with better lies ], but right now, we need to focus on more important things. I mean, there's no sign of the Rebellion or the Horde here. Don't you think that's weird?
