[ There's a shootout, the Charon soldiers bursting into the office—and then Lopez is here, on an average street in an average town in who-knows-where. He looks around, turning in a short arc. ]

[ The pumpkin rolls over to the edge of the front stoop and lands on its side. And then the expressions on the pumpkins' faces seem to change.
Lopez looks at them. ]

[ Lopez frowns when the beeping begins, eventually giving up on knocking the device against the table and selecting the game instead. He's annoyed at the question and tries to ignore it, but he can't. It won't let him. ]
