This isn't the strangest thing that's happened to Natori Shuuichi. This isn't even the first time that he's ended up in a strange room today. His momentary expression of surprise quickly shifts to exasperation, and with a quick glance of the room around him-- dusty run-down looking building, person he doesn't know, nothing atypical here-- he stops halfway through the doorway, one hand still holding the knob ready to tug it shut, the other drifting casually inside his jacket pocket to feel for a paper charm. He smiles, practiced and insincere.]
Ah, is this your home? Sorry for intruding.
b. pumpkins [There's a grown ass man having a staring contest with a jack-o-lantern.
He adjusts his glasses as he stares a cheerful pumpkin in the not-face, squinting suspiciously, and then suddenly slaps a piece of paper-- long and thin, with intricately inked calligraphy on it-- onto the top of the pumpkin. You may recognize it as an ofuda, though the characters written on it are illegible.
Now there's a grown ass man having a staring contest with a jack-o-lantern that has a piece of paper stuck in front of its eyes. Hopefully that doesn't count as abusing a pumpkin.]
c. heart game [He's got a... combination pager/PDA? that keeps beeping at him until he manages to navigate to the heart game. Even though he's never seen a youkai be this attached to new technology, it feels like the kind of weird situation that would come up with dealing with one. After painstakingly hunting-and-pecking his way across the keyboard--]
