[ What kind of a place doesn't even sell ginger pork bone broth ramen? Well, probably the same sort of place where he wakes up in a stranger's bathtub out of the blue. But someone was nice enough to give him a bowl of some warm, pumpkin soup. Not his first choice, but it definitely warms him up, and the dollop of sweet cream in the middle was a nice treat.
And since he doesn't have a coat, someone was kind enough to let him drape an old, soft blanket around his shoulders. As he walks through the town, wearing the blankets over him, he starts to notice that some of the pumpkins have shocked looks on their faces, particularly the ones facing in his direction.
He doesn't think anything of it at first, but then, after walking past a particularly distressed-looking jack o' lantern, something compels him to turn around... and that same jack o' lantern is looking in his direction again. ]
There! You saw it, right?!? It turned around!
[ Keiichi points at the offending carved pumpkin, looking around for the nearest person who can confirm that yes, it did indeed turn around to stare at him, or no, he's just going crazy again. ]
[ 2 - What A Ride (cw: potential death) ]
[ Keiichi has been walking around the town with one of his friends, but they went off in their separate directions to try to find more information about their whereabouts and how they might get home, but also to see what this place has to offer. Keiichi's pretty used to walking around new places, and knowing that he has a couple of friends from home here to fall back upon makes him feel a little less uncomfortable with the whole "being trapped away from home" thing.
What he doesn't realize as he's walking along a sidewalk is that the friend he's supposed to meet up with on the other side of the town is currently holding on for dear life atop a wildly galloping horse, and that she's seconds away from crying out his name.
And then, mid-stride, he just stops in place. ]
Ghk—!
[ Eyes wide, he falls over, unable to move or catch himself. If anyone rushes to his aid, they'll find that he's completely paralyzed, unable to even breathe. The sheer panic in his frozen eyes isn't just for his life, but for the fear of leaving his friends behind!
The horse is nowhere nearby. Perhaps there's time to save him, but what can you do for someone whose body and organs just... stop moving? ]
[ 3 - Heart game ]
[ Keiichi's never used one of these weird phones before, what with being from the 1980s and all that. But he's also a fast learner, so after some trial and error, he manages to figure out the interface.
Cough cough, Mion, cough cough. ]
this game doesn't sound very fun. you know what would make it more fun? if you had to give three answers! two of them are lies, and the third one's the truth!
then, people try to guess which answer is the real one. if they pick the right one, then they win, but if they don't, then you win! who wants to give it a try??????
