caesar zeppeli | jojo's bizarre adventure

Arrival

[Lying facedown in a grimy bathtub that's still damp from whoever was previously using it- this isn't how he expected to wake up.

A bizarre situation that fits the ridiculous hallucination he had seconds before, what he assumed, was his death. There's no blood staining the fiberglass tub though and when he pushes himself up to pat down his body, he finds his wounds healed and-

He isn't sure what to make of this.

So sorry whatever randos are in this particular home-he wastes no time in ripping open the bathroom door in this unfamiliar room with a loud-

Send me back now-I have unfinished business!

[Look, he's over it.

This whole goddamn place is a disaster and he was fine-

Well, not fine, but he was accepting and able to deal with the randos in the cottage he's being forced to room with.

But he draws the line at ghosts.

He draws two lines at ghosts who keep moving his stuff and ruining his room by misplacing the few items he's managed to collect during his short time here.

The thing is-they aren't hurting anyone. It's strange and he lit the candle one time to deter the spirits after he heard rumors of it getting rid of the creatures, only to find them vanish with shrieks of agony.

He didn't light it again, but-

Now his lighter is missing, maybe out of defiance for the single time he lit a candle and you know what? It's fair. But he's still mad about it and he could really use a smoke.

He rips open drawer after drawer, opens cabinet after cabinet, and even drops to the ground to check under appliances.

These spirits are persistent.

It Arrives

[It's a goose.

An intruder of the most ridiculous caliber, Caesar isn't sure what to make of the animal. It seems too harmless to have been set on them for no reason. It's whatever. He's content to ignore the honking beast until it tires itself out. Occasionally he'll sass it with a 'You're an annoying animal' and 'Go away' and he'll even try to throw crumbs of bread to get it out of his personal space, but-

The goose is smarter than this beefy man.

It jabs at his feet for more bread and Caesar, leaning down to scold the creature eye to eye, doesn't expect it to lurch forward to grab the lit cigarette from his lips.

It's a ridiculous sight-a smoking goose- and he almost barks out a laugh. Almost. He's too irritated by this unwanted problem to appreciate the sight.
]

Are you proud of yourself?

[Nasty creature. He whips a hand up to take the lit cigarette from its beak, but it's already waddling away and he's just-]

Idiot.
