Of course. DoLLs are made to serve; without this, we do not always have the programmed capacity to function on our own. Humans are what give us our function, and humans create our form.

[He's really... trying at a serene and gentle smile, but it still looks weird. Not like he's disbelieving of his words, but just... like he doesn't know what the expression is.]

Many DoLLs remain in a family's span for generations, though it is the choice of the surviving individuals whether to continue to maintain an out-of-date individual or to have it decommissioned. It is an honour to provide for them, regardless.
