The stranger's question grabs her attention. Glaring at the goose for a second longer, she stops and turns to face the person she's just bumped into. Sal certainly looks grumpy enough, especially with that scar slashed down her cheek.
"Yeah, that's right," she says vehemently. "That little bastard stole my lunch, and now it's got something coming to it."
Of course, that goose is making leisurely progress down the sidewalk as they speak, entirely unhindered by any humans chatting. She fights down the urge to draw the Cacophony; with her gun, she could simply freeze it in place. (Then again, the last time she drew on an irritating fowl, he found it to be only the gravest of insults.)
It might be ridiculous, but that's never stopped her before.
But, now that Sal's distracted, she at least takes a moment to address this person's inquiry. "Look, I'm sorry—" Ugh, apologies are awful. "Miss? I guess my anger got away from me. You're not hurt or anything like that...?"
