You have a good point. I don't know how to build a fireplace, but isn't there something mesmerizing about a crackling fire? I'm grateful for central heating, of course, but most fireplaces where I'm from are electric.

A real one would be great, though! If nothing else, we can at least start a fire outside here to sit around and keep warm.
