( it's not enough that yuuji's already heads over heels (in almost literal sense) for vangeance's 'cool magic stuff', now he has to max out the charisma AND charm like a true knight in shining armour. yuuji's eyes dilate, in a different way they did when he saw the healing plant summon. the almond-shaped eyes round, filled with not just wonder but also awe and pure admiration. his cheeks flush lightly, and he could've sworn his heart skipped a beat or two from that.

( too... cool. his mouth stays ajar as he processes the statement in his head. never once did he doubt how legit of a knight vangeance could be, should he not have the preconceived notion that the man's a cosplayer. everything now makes a lot more sense. even when he's laughing more openly like that, there's still something... high-class about it?! yuuji wants to imitate it, but maybe not now, not when all he can do is just stare at vangeance in a daze. this almost feels like, after getting whacked with a chain of 10 combos, the opponent finishes the battle with their special move. yuuji is completely destroyed. (not that he's ever gonna compete with vangeance... he doesn't think he'll ever be able to achieve that level of coolness ever.) )
